Description
In Nepal, masks play a significant role in various occasions. As such, there are many kinds of Nepali masks – religious, cultural, ethnic, folk, deity, festival, ritual, dance, exorcist, and shaman. These masks can either be colorful or monotone, depending on the symbol or identity that the mask represents.
This particular product is carved by hand from a single piece of wood and is purposely tinted black – which is one of the most popular mask colors. Measuring approximately 11 inches, this mask is adorned with animal hair and cowrie shells. Use this as a wall hanging.
