The female doll’s attire consists of the following: a tongkok – a floor-length, long-sleeved dress made of thick wool; a metil apron worn on the front; and a kyetig – an embossed buckle.
The male doll also has a long-sleeved robe – called chhuba – that goes slightly beyond the knee and is tied around the waist with a kara, which is a cloth sash. This garment is worn over a blouse or raatuk, and trousers or kanam.
