Peacock Necked Sarangi

The neck of the sarangi is made in the design of peacock. This gives the sarangi, its own importance and shows the art of Gadharvas in city like Kathmandu and Pokhara. The khirro wood is shaped into peacock. It makes it rich in art and culture of people living in Nepal in wood carving and designing.
